ABOUT PROJECT

The SASME project aims to provide adult education institutions (mainly focused on education of seniors) with a comprehensive set of materials (training program on media, ready to implement in the offer for seniors, educational materials supporting trainers in content delivery, as well as trainees in acquiring knowledge - videos), tools (edu board game, European Senior voice magazine as a tool for transferring knowledge and the "laboratory" environment for shaping basic skills, Senior Benefit Card social campaign - a tool for raising awareness and shaping social, entrepreneurial, skills of the elderly), a training method based on voluntary work-based learning of people aged 50+.

WHO WE ARE?

We are a team of organizations which bring their constant contribution in the development process of education. In our work we cover Poland, Romania, Germany and Lithuania, but we plan to impact even more. We are united by the same goal: to innovate the training system for seniors through media education. Now that we know a great way to accomplish this, we set our goal and we are ready to achieve it.

WHAT WE DO?

HOW WE DO?

The SASME Program – the main product of the project - consists of: • a training method based on trainings in the classroom and voluntary work-based learning, training program and materials supporting trainers in content delivery, • educational materials supporting seniors in acquiring knowledge on media (educational movies and printed brochures) • tools and pro-seniors activities - educational board game, European Senior voice magazine, Senior Card social campaign – discount card for seinor. • Handbook for senior organizations presenting good practices in implementation of SASME program.

SENIOR VOICE

A magazine created for seniors by seniors, issued in 4 EU countries – Poland, Romania, Germany, Lithuania. The magazine address a number of subjects important for the elderly people, such as health, safety, finance, social afffairs, their rights, but also intervieves with interesting peopla and information about local seniors’ activities.

BOARD

GAME

A table game for those who like learning and entertainment. Players take on the role of editors of the ‘Senior Voice magazine’ who collect interesting orders/articles when travelling around the Europe. The player who collects the most valuable information and submit them to the appropriate editorial office will earn the most money and wins the game.

HANDBOOK

FOR NGO'S

A handbook for senior organizations promoting the SASME Program and showing good practices and lessons learned from implementation of the SASME Program in partner countries. The handbook presents various aspects of promotion of senior activities and coordination of editorial office and Senior Card campaign.
